LingoLens is an app for translating your own audio/video content. You must have legal rights to all content you process. AI output can contain errors and should be reviewed before critical use. Paid features are sold through Apple's in-app purchase system.

1. Acceptance of terms

By using LingoLens, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

These terms apply in addition to Apple's standard App Store terms and end-user license terms.

2. License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use LingoLens on devices you own or control under App Store rules.

You may not reverse engineer, resell, redistribute, or use LingoLens in ways that violate law or third-party rights.

3. Your content and responsibilities

3.1 Ownership

You keep ownership of content you import and outputs you generate, subject to any rights of original content owners.

3.2 Rights and permissions

You are solely responsible for ensuring you have permission to process and translate any media.

You must not use LingoLens to infringe copyright, bypass access controls, or process content you do not have rights to use.

3.3 Prohibited use

Illegal content processing.
Intellectual property infringement.
Harassment, abuse, or unlawful misuse of generated output.
Any use that breaches applicable law.

4. Service quality disclaimer

Transcription, translation, and synthesis are AI-assisted and may be inaccurate. Verify results before legal, medical, compliance, or safety-related use.

5. Paid features and billing

Premium features are sold via Apple's in-app purchase system. Subscription management, billing, and refunds are handled by Apple according to Apple's policies.

LingoLens uses RevenueCat to manage subscription entitlement state inside the app.

6. Third-party services

LingoLens may rely on third-party providers including Apple, OpenAI, Azure, AdMob, and RevenueCat. Availability and behavior of third-party services are outside our direct control.

7. Intellectual property

The app's software, UI, and branding are protected by intellectual property law. "LingoLens" and related marks may not be used without permission.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

LingoLens is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the app.

If your jurisdiction does not allow certain limitations, liability is limited to the maximum allowed by applicable law.

10. Privacy

Your use of LingoLens is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by applicable local law of our operating jurisdiction unless mandatory law states otherwise.
